Pre-Trip #1

Hello people,

This is the first post for my Wuhan, China trip.

To those who are unclear with my trip, I'm going Wuhan, Hubei Province of China for a 6 weeks immersion programme. I will be staying and studying in Wuhan Institute of Technology from 4 March to 14 April.

For your information, I will be having Project Management and one IS module in Wuhan.

The IS module is assessed by:

1. Developing a learning plan and defining focus areas 20%

2. Journaling (which is this blog for) 50%

3. Post-trip Presentation 15%

4. Report 15%

When I am writing this post, my bag packing process is about 80% already. I'll be bringing 1 luggage for check in, inside I will put a small bag also for my usage in Wuhan. I also will be taking my white zinc bag which I will put my computer and my prothesis in it and will carry on flight.

I also went for a hair cut @ Balestier, which is $5 only. very budget :D and cut 10 times, free 1 time. Whole family also go there to cut la =x Then I went to ICA Building @ Lavender to take photo. 4 pieces for $5.35. Instant print, about 5 minutes then okay already.

The current temperature in Wuhan is about 2 degree celcius. Yesterday was 6. It is abit ambiguous as I wanted to try cold weather and hope to see snow, yet I wanted it to be warmer so I won't need those winter wear stuff.

I went to Mustafa to buy some thing this morning and I exchanged some money. In order to keep my package light (or small), I decided not to bring those thick thick windbreaker/jacket but instead, I will bring a Long Johns. As the temperature will be rising day by day (end of winter), I think bringing those thick thick jacket will be too troublesome and not much of use. I also bought underwear which I think is very expansive la. -_- even though I bought the cheapest 1, $12.90 for 4 pieces. Photo? no la, still hanging outside. Washed them before wearing.

The currency exchange today is $105.50 SGD to 450 RenMinBi. (yea. china money very 'big' now)

I'll be doing my assessment part 1, which is the pre-trip thing later. 

I think that's all for the very first post la. I think I will update this blog as often as possible, maybe daily, as this is 50% weightage la =P cannot play play.
