Day #17 Friday

Today, the semester 2 result was announced. 

Some were happy, some were not happy.

I am ok with my result la, GPA 3.9583, 0.0018 higher than previous semester.

As our class is in the afternoon, 2 to 4pm, we had breakfast and lunch before going to class.

As for breakfast, I took bread with skippy and cheese butter. then for lunch, jianwen fried egg, omelette, with onion, crab meat, and the cheese butter. 

Left for class at about 1.30pm, reach there about 2pm. Stopped on the way to the class as we went to find the uncle to write the chinese name for us for ___. 

Mrs Edith was late for about 30 minutes. She told us that did not have 2 lectures in a week before, as most of the time she only had 1, and we had her lecture on Tuesday, so she did not expect/remember about the class on Friday. She then taught about the culture in china, and shared with us some fun facts about china, like the numbers, colours, etc. She also told us about Dragon Boat Festive, which is 端午节.

After discussing about the bakzhang ( 粽子) in the dragonboat festive discussion, we went to tapao BakZhang to eat. one bakzhang is $1.50 RMB. I did not try the bakzhang, but my friends told me that it tastes terrible. -_-

We then tapao baozhang and had dinner opposite campus then went home. Stopped by halfway to the campus mart to buy fruits. 4 pears + 4 apples = $13 rMB.

LiZhen was cooking soup on level3. Soup was not very nice but is good enough for a first timer. Too much tomato and too little water. We went back to hostel to study/rest and we went to level3 to have dinner and soup at about 10pm, then went home to study and sleep.

Lessons: 

• Study hard to get good result
• If want to try food, it is advisable to buy 1 first, then try it, then if nice, proceed and buy more. if not nice, don't buy. you will regret if you bought a lot but they are not nice
• we were told that Wuhan will rain this few days and I bought umbrella. however, it does not rain :(
